Step 1: Design and Fabric Selection

The design and fabric is first selected. You will work with our designer and team to choose all particulars of the suit or jacket being tailored. All particulars are transferred to your personal profile that is uniquely cut, to ensure accuracy.

Step 2: Cutting the Cloth

After the fabric and design has been selected, your cloth is then chalked based on your personal profile and cut.

Step 3: Canvassing

Your garment is then hand canvassed. This ensures that you get the elegant natural flow on the body. A canvassed garment can last a lifetime if cared for correctly, as it is more durable.

Step 4: First and Second Try On

After 2-3 weeks, your suit will be ready to be tried on. At this stage, it is half finished, basted, and can be tweaked and adjusted properly. The way it fits your body is noted. We ensure that it fits your body at this step. If further adjustments are needed, the suit is then taken apart, and completed for the second try on.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

At this stage, the final fitting is conducted. We ensure that the customer is completely satisfied. The team at Threads will also give advice on how to properly care for the suit once it is taken home.
